FOR TODAY … 27 October 2008

Outside My Window… Colorful leaves, dark clouds and a crack of sunshine from one part of the sky.

I am thinking… that I have a lot of work to do on my desk!  It doesn’t seem to be doing itself.

I am thankful for… two of my kitties who kept me so warm last night.

From the kitchen… I want to make some sort of apple bread.  I’m stuck between two possible recipes.

I am wearing…a dark pink v-neck sweater, white tee underneath, brown slacks.

I am creating…still working through Thimbleberries for the third quarter.  I didn’t get much for lunchtimes last week to work on this.  This week should be much more productive!

I am going… to go check the office mail in a minute.  I am awaiting pretty eyeshadows, and a book.

I am reading…Essential Oils and Aromatics by Marge Clark.  Marge has a fabulous website for aromatherapy enthusiasts at http://www.naturesgift.com, and the book is a nice, concise guide.

I am hoping… that the weatherpeople are exaggerating about the snow potential this week.  😮

I am hearing… co-workers talking and a gusty wind blowing outside.

Around the house… it’s time to unearth the cold weather clothes and pack away the summer stuff.

One of my favorite things… a long-coveted book finally in my hands, with a cup of tea at my elbow.
