FOR TODAY … 11 November 2008
Outside My Window… Dull, gray skies. I can’t remember when we last saw the sun.
I am thinking… that those four men in my office who came in today in spite of being very sick had better not share their colds with me!
I am thankful for… lowering gas prices! $2/gallon is not uncommon hereabouts this week.
From the kitchen… chili and a chef’s salad for dinner tonight.
I am wearing… black slacks and black shirt under a velvety teal cardigan.
I am creating… made good progress on one quilt over the weekend, and also beaded a basic bookmark and pretty pair of earrings (if I say so myself LOL)
I am going… to make sure I don’t forget my vitamins with all these stupid germs floating around.
I am reading… having finished off Mr. Adams, I am back into The Gentle Art of Domesticity. I love her writing.
I am hoping… for hubby to be in a better mood.
I am hearing… my neighbor in the next office on the phone. A lot.
Around the house… the house is pretty clean, but egads has the laundry gotten out of control!
One of my favorite things… lunch with my girlfriend, which I just enjoyed today at Kona Grill. Yum!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… I have some letters to write – good, old-fashioned kinds on real paper that go through the post office.
My Picture Thought … from Butchart Gardens in British Columbia (oh to follow that brick path…)
