FOR TODAY … 24 November 2008
Outside My Window… very gray, dark skies. We have a slight snow/rain storm on its way.
I am thinking… not much. I’m not very bright today.
I am thankful for… feeling better from my bug, and my cozy weekend at home.
From the kitchen… I haven’t a clue. Please review my condition, two lines up.
I am wearing… a gray knit tunic with sequins, dark slacks, pumps with a buckle.
I am creating… still stitching on my sampler quilt.
I am going… to work on my pictures from Denmark; still formatting and organizing the hundreds of images.
I am reading… I’m between books at the moment. What shall the next one be?
I am hoping… that the roads are properly cleared from today’s snow before I have to commute home later.
I am hearing… my scanner, processing a huge report from my boss.
Around the house… a deep clean this week, as my family is coming over for dinner this weekend.
One of my favorite things… free quilt patterns. Just downloaded one from the All People Quilt website, a scrappy bit of cuteness.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… cleaning house, menu planning, grocery shopping.
My Picture Thought … sunset from a rooftop neighboring our favorite hotel in Key Largo:
The Simple Woman is the original home of
The Simple Woman’s Daybook.
The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.
Here’s how to take part:
1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)
2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
Wow! That is a beautiful picture…bet you’re wishing you were there now, eh?
Am hoping you feel better real soon…stop off and grab something for dinner, don’t push yourself.
Be safe on the roads!
I wish I were there so badly, it hurts LOL!
I think carry-out is the way to go tonight; you are right. 🙂
Temps have come up and now all is wet, so things should be pretty easy going home. But it is black as night out there!
You inspired me to join the Monday journal.

Hi Peggy! Thanks so much for stopping by!
I love that journal. It sort of helps me take stock, be grateful, make productive plans… orient myself for the fresh week. 🙂
I’ve taken a quick peek at your blog and it looks wonderful! I’m about to go back for a more thorough visit. 😉
Hi
Hope you are feeling better.
Rigtig god bedring.
…..Det kunne være sjovt at se et par billeder fra DK. Bare et par stykker?
Dem jeg så på dit camera, var rigtig gode, men i lille størrelse, jo. :o)
Nåå ja, DK er jo også et lille land ;oD

Argh! I can hear the words in my mind in Danish to respond, but can’t spell them properly LOL! I know Denmark is a little country and I was only there three weeks, so how can I have 700 pictures LOL!? I do have one online album filled and can send you the link; a second is nearly done. 😉
