FOR TODAY … 15 December 2008

Outside My Window… brownish grass, very high winds

I am thinking… that I cannot wait for my days off later this month!

I am thankful for… my hubby, who worked tirelessly this weekend on winterizing-type projects.  😉

From the kitchen… I don’t know yet; getting groceries on my way home.

I am wearing… dark grey blouse, black slacks, earrings I made

I am creating… back to working on my Thimbleberries quilt.

I am going… to the Cranbrook Institute this Friday with my mom; will focus on the science museum, but may have time to check out the art museum too.  Cranbrook is a wonderful local establishment that also includes private schools, a theatre, and renowned gardens.

I am reading… I am between books, but am awaiting the next installment in the Fairacre series by Miss Read.

I am hoping… that my sore throat does not mean I’m getting a cold, and is merely a product of very dry air.  Yes, that must be it.  😉  I am flat-out ignoring my earache.

I am hearing… Danish radio online

Around the house… need to change the linens out; time for the new featherbed my mother-in-law just gave us!  🙂

One of my favorite things… a clear desk; being all caught up.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… meetings at work.

My Picture Thought … this windmill on the Danish island of Langeland houses an absolutely delightful antique shop.  A fabric shop with some excellent deals was in an adjoining building.

The Simple Woman is the original home of The Simple Woman’s Daybook.

The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.

Here’s how to take part:

1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)

2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.

3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
