FOR TODAY … 2 February 2009 (Ha! Finally back to my Monday postings, as it should be.)
Outside My Window… snow, brittle sunlight and bluish sky
I am thinking… only 90 more minutes before I can go home. 😉
I am thankful for… my warm house on cold nights.
From the kitchen… we might grill something. We barbecue all year round. 😉
I am wearing… cream crochety cardigan, black tank top, brown slacks, brown clogs.
I am creating… just finished Anabelle’s kitty quilt; will post a pic tomorrow.
I am going… to bed early tonight. Five hours was not enough sleep last night.
I am reading… various crafty books.
I am hoping… that my grandma (re-hospitalized with a cardiac issue now) will be okay.
I am hearing… traffic, papers shuffling, my keyboard clacking.
Around the house… have to dust and vacuum.
One of my favorite things… the Danish hot chocolate I brought home from my trip; YUM!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… going to the hospital; everything else is up in the air.
My Picture Thought … from the balcony of our hotel near Arhus, Denmark. The rainbow was a full arch, but I thought this end was prettier. 🙂 That must be a happy house…
The Simple Woman is the original home of
The Simple Woman’s Daybook.
The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.
Here’s how to take part:
1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)
2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.
3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
I’m a year-round griller too, and I do pray that your grandmother will be well.
“Brittle sunlight”…very poetic!

Thank you for thinking of my grandma. She’s one of my best friends. 😉
That’s all I can think of when I look outside on cold but bright days… like if it warmed up one degree more, the sky would crack LOL! But we are getting more of a thaw than originally predicted! 🙂 This weekend too… stay warm.
How is grandma?
