FOR TODAY … 9 February 2009

Outside My Window… gray sky, dirty snow, muddy grass

I am thinking… that I know it’s a false spring, but I’ll take this thaw anyway. 😉

I am thankful for… my hubby working on my quilting frame right now.  Should be ready to go soon!

From the kitchen… leftovers from the weekend.

I am wearing… dark pink sweater, black slacks and black beaded necklace

I am creating… finishing up the sampler quilt top (for above frame.)

I am going… not really anywhere.  😀

I am reading… The Art of the Handmade Quilt

I am hoping… that my grandma (re-hospitalized with a cardiac issue now) will be okay.  So many things going wrong…

I am hearing… the cats growling at each other as they crowd around the screen door (I’m happily home from work.)

Around the house… should clean the bathroom, and reward myself with a fragrant bath.

One of my favorite things… just went away.  😦  Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion magazine.  I’m so sad…

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… going to the hospital; everything else is up in the air.

My Picture Thought … a nod to a favorite beverage.  It’s been a bit stressful lately, so this looks quite appealing.  😉

The Simple Woman is the original home of The Simple Woman’s Daybook.

The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.

Here’s how to take part:

1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)

2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.

3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
