FOR TODAY … 23 February 2009

Outside My Window… sun and blue sky, fresh snow from the weekend

I am thinking… that I need an early bedtime tonight after the Oscars last night.  😮

I am thankful for… our jobs and a current mortgage.

From the kitchen… ham that I roasted over the weekend… all twenty pounds of it!  But it sure is good with that molasses/orange juice/mustard glaze and those cloves.  😉  I’ll be making split pea soup sometime this week from that bodacious hambone.

I am wearing… black jersey cardian over a dark purple top, black slacks,  and black beaded necklace.

I am creating… a little beading.

I am going… to Whole Foods Market for some supplements tonight.

I am reading… Jane Seymour’s Making Yourself at Home: Finding Your Creativity and Putting It All Together. Some great design tips and fun ways to spark personalization around the house…

I am hoping… that Grandma continues to hold her own through some challenging health sutff.

I am hearing… traffic and someone elsewhere in the suite on the phone.

Around the house… a little dusting and vacuum is in order.

One of my favorite things… a bright, sunny day after days and days of gray skies.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… helping hubby get ready for his trip to Florida with his mom.

My Picture Thought … is called “Spring Window”, by Timothy Easton.  Someday soon… *sigh*

The Simple Woman is the original home of The Simple Woman’s Daybook.

The Simple Woman’s Daybook will take place each Monday.

Here’s how to take part:

1. Write up and publish your journal page using the questions/picture ideasI have listed below onto your blog. Be as descriptive as you can! This makes it more interesting to your readers. (You may cut and paste them for the purpose to participate in The Simple Woman’s Daybook.)

2. Copy the “permalink” from your “The Simple Woman’s Daybook” post, not the link to the front page of your blog. This will make it much easier for others to find instead of looking through the entire list of entries at your blog for your “daybook”. This will save time for all of us.

3. Come back here and add your permalink to Mister Linky.
