FOR TODAY … 16 July, 2009

Outside My Window… blue skies, cool air, morning traffic (the curse of living on a main road, even in the country.)

I am thinking… that sleeping kitties are well-behaved.

I am thankful for… a fun, restful day off today.

From the kitchen… um………………………..

I am wearing… pink t-shirt and flannel pink and black bottoms; still in my pajamas.

I am creating… some jewelry to go with a couple of new summer outfits.  This should be fun!  Except I need the right beads, so (see below 😉 ):

I am going… to my favoritest bead store today!  It’s a bit of a drive, but so worth it!  Somewhere around here, I have a post about Bead Haven in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

I am reading… a back issue of Stringing magazine; I need inspiration.

I am hoping… that all my favorite quilt and bead stores weather this economy!

I am hearing… a fan on in the bedroom, cars on the road.

Around the house… a load or two of laundry, and I need to water outside.  It’s been a little dry this week.

One of my favorite things… being up early on a day off with a bunch of happy work in front of me to do.  😀

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… our annual three-day convention (faith-based.)  Hence the new outfits LOL!

My Picture Thought … with the observance of Bastille Day in France in recent days, my favorite TV channel (PBS’ Create) has been running a lot of French-inspired shows, travel and cooking.  There has been a healthy dose of art history too, and Monet has been a favorite of mine for a long time.  I especially like the work below, of Madame Monet and her son; I can almost feel the wind sweeping over the top of the hill, as if it’s pulling at my own skirts!  (Assuming, you know, that I was dressed so… 😉
