FOR TODAY … 5 August, 2009

Outside My Window… a GORGEOUS morning!  It’s perfectly clear, the humidity has broken, and the country air smelled just amazing from my porch this morning.

I am thinking… that it will be nice to have hubby home again.

I am thankful for… summer.

From the kitchen… leftover penne pasta with sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce.  (Yes, from a jar, but this Classico sauce is good stuff LOL!)

I am wearing… striped shirt, lacy tank underneath, brown slacks, brown sandals.

I am creating… trying to catch up on my Thimbleberries quilt for 2009.

I am going… to get some work done this morning!

I am reading… a new quilting magazine.

I am hoping… that my family members experiencing health challenges weather them as successfully as possible.

I am hearing… a little traffic, men’s voices plotting marketing strategies.

Around the house… master bathroom could use a spit-and-shine.

One of my favorite things… the scent of country air on a cool summer morning, while watching the sun sparkle through the dew drops.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… would like to go kayaking this weekend, weather and hubby’s time permitting…
