FOR TODAY … 23 August, 2009
Outside My Window… clouds and cool air (at home.)
I am thinking… that it has been a fairly couple of long weeks. The week that my daddy was hospitalized to receive cancer treatment, my grandpa (his father) passed away. He was 94, and an amazing, accomplished man.
I am thankful for… my family, especially now.
From the kitchen… just tacos. 🙂
I am wearing… long t-shirt and black leggings, typical summer PJs.
I am creating… not so much this week, as I get the hang of my Singer 301 vintage sewing machine. She sews like a dream!
I am going… to be more productive at work this week than I was last week. 😦
I am reading… a gorgeous coffee table book that recreates a photographic version of Marco Polo’s journey, captured by a photographer from National Geographic.
I am hoping… that hubby has a safe motorcycle trip this week.
I am hearing… commercials, hubby getting ready for bed.
Around the house… must chase the dust bunnies around with my vacuum.
One of my favorite things… quiet (fairly unproductive) days at home, when I need them.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… working, getting caught up.
My Picture Thought … a nod to my recent crocheting efforts:
Another motorcycle trip?! More time alone? 🙂
I’m glad you all get to go to the service after all…so sorry about Grandpa.
Just a wee trip… Thursday to Saturday with his dad to the Michigan HOG rally. 🙂
Thanks about Grandpa; we’re relieved plans have come through too!
