Outside My Window… rain and wind and grey.  Bleh.

I am thinking… that  this week has REALLY dragged!

I am thankful for… painkillers.  Oy, what a headache!

From the kitchen… chicken loaf and veggies.

I am wearing… sage green sweater over black shirt and slacks.

I am creating… a surprise.  Can’t say anymore yet. 

I am going… to try to skip out of work early today.  I will have a new toy to play with (if UPS ever gets here!)

I am reading… Miss Clare Remembers – another Fairacre book

I am hoping… that my family returns soon from Florida, safe, sound, rested and tanned. 

I am hearing… cars running on wet roads, phone conversations.

Around the house… need to vacuum.  Nasty dust bunnies…

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… catching up at work, sewing…

My Picture Thought … visited a quilt shop in Frankenmuth, Michigan last week, called Front Porch Quilts.  They’ve been open about 8 months and have a very nice store.  They even host overnight quilting retreats using guest rooms in the second story of their old house/store.  Anyway, near the check-out, this lovely gardeny quilt caught my eye.  I may have to start collecting buttons!
