FOR TODAY … 1 April 2010 (it’s finally MY month, baby!)

Outside My Window… sun, warming temps, near perfection

I am thinking… that  I cannot wait to get into the sunshine over the next couple of days!

I am thankful for… a four-day work week.  😉

From the kitchen… I haven’t a clue. 

I am wearing… the clothes don’t matter.  What matters is that I am wearing sandals for the first time in 2010!  Even got some polish slapped on these toenails.  😉

I am creating… a surprise.  Can’t say anymore yet.   It’s coming along though.  😉

I am going… to go kayaking tomorrow!

I am reading… Textile Style by Caroline Clifton-Mogg.  Early on in the book, I didn’t like some the suggestions (how they used textiles in a given room)  as I have very strong opinions on design, but stuck with it and have seen some really genius ideas deeper in.  Fabrics from all over the world and from multiple centuries… a true feast of eye candy and some imaginative ways to give new life to old threads.  Cover pic below…

I am hoping… that my daddy is over his bronchitis soon!  For winter in Florida, they sure all have been miserable.  But then, so has the weather there…

I am hearing… my computer’s fan; it is deathly quiet hereabouts.

Around the house… all is done, so I can play this weekend.

One of my favorite things… Saffi, the One-eyed Wonder Runt, perching across my shoulders and purring into my hair when I sit at the home PC.
