FOR TODAY … 13 May 2010
Outside My Window… pale grey skies, branches waving in the wind.
I am thinking… that I am hungry.
I am thankful for… hubby who went and got me my organic compost after work last night… and unloaded it, and repaired my raised bed, and didn’t come in until 9:00. 😦
From the kitchen… not sure. We have a meeting at 7, so I’ll probably pick something up on my way home.
I am wearing… sage green sweater, pretty aqua-pearly necklace
I am creating… finishing the binding on hubby’s quilt. Tomorrow it WILL be finished! Almost 2500 handstitches…
I am going… to finally get my carrots and peas sown tomorrow. Very late, but hopefully all will still be well with them.
I am reading… just finishing Jane Brocket’s The Gentle Art of Quilt Making, just released a few weeks ago. Lots of eyecandy and inspiration.
I am hoping… that we can play a bit in the sun this weekend. We need it. 😉
I am hearing… traffic outside, office HVAC.
Around the house… I really should dust, but…
One of my favorite things… fresh garden beds, all fed and leveled and just waiting for planting. 😀
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… sleeping in tomorrow morning, taking hubby’s boss and his wife out to dinner tomorrow evening. Working outside this weekend, maybe some kayaking?
My Picture Thought … this WILL be me tomorrow if anyone interferes with the above referenced plan of sleeping in:
Have you tracked down all the fabric for your newest quilt to be?!
I’m waiting til what I’ve ordered arrives, then filling in the rest with help from my local quilt shop. 🙂 Can’t wait!
