FOR TODAY … 21 May 2010
Outside My Window… sunny blue skies, lotsa wind
I am thinking… that every day is precious.
I am thankful for… this morning’s rain turning to sunshine so I could do some planting.
From the kitchen… immediately, a cup of tea 😉
I am wearing… grubby gardening clothes
I am creating… finishing the binding on my Let Them Eat Cake quilt. So pretty (if I say so myself 😉 )
I am going… to try to relax the rest of the day and not worry about my declining grandma. She is in good hands, and things will happen as they happen.
I am reading… just trotted out Quilts from Lavender Hill Farm by Darlene Zimmerman (aka, the Feedsack Lady)
I am hoping… that that nasty epidural steroid treatment I had Wednesday starts paying off! So far, not so much…
I am hearing… laptop’s fan, a kitty foraging somewhere…
Around the house… need to clean the bathroom (didn’t I just do this??)
One of my favorite things… sunny days in May, with a summer full of promise stretching out in front of me.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… my friend the massage student will be out tomorrow to practice on hubby and me. 🙂 And I have to put my pansy bed in.
My Picture Thought … I’m not exactly a Liberal, but I do love my bleeding hearts LOL!
Beautiful picture.
Book on my wishlist…
Hoping your neck/back is better soon. Oh YES! Finger too!
Line me up for a massage too, please!
Praying your mom and grandma have good days together.
I am unusually high maintenance this week, aren’t I LOL!?
