Outside My Window… blue skies, crisp, sweet-smelling air. So nice after a week or two of hot and humid weather!
I am thinking… that I need to quit monkeying around and get some work done!
I am thankful for… furry, purry kittycats.
From the kitchen… unsure. Plans for tonight are up in the air, and we may not be home.
I am wearing… floral shirt, slacks, sandals.
I am creating… not a lot; sewed some more of my disappearing nine-patch quilt over the weekend.
I am going… to go for a walk this evening and enjoy the fresh air.
I am reading… Mrs. DeWinter, by Susan Hill. An intriguing and plausible sequel to the original Rebecca.
I am hoping… for a chance to get up to Northern Michigan in August or September… I am homesick. 😉
I am hearing… people talking on the phone.
Around the house… tidied up the garden, need to vacuum.
One of my favorite things… an afternoon nap with the fans humming and kitties snoozing all around me.

My Picture Thought … Minding my peas and, well… peas. I’ve had a number of bowls now that look like this or fuller; much better crop than last year!

Fresh peas out of the garden! The ONLY way to eat them…really…the only way…cooked mushy peas are just downright ICKIE!
Disappearing Nine Patch! I would like to take a peeksee! PLEASE?
I haven’t cooked a single one. 😀 Last week, we were eating them out of the pod while watching movies, like popcorn LOL!
I’m too lazy to figure in advance how much I need to cut on my D9P, so I sew and add, sew and add… it might be a bit before I actually have blocks to piece together LOL!
