FOR TODAY … 11 August, 2010
Outside My Window… young shirtless men jogging along in a pack. 😀
I am thinking… that I have too much to do today.
I am thankful for… the little touches that help me enjoy my day, like the candle I have in my office.
From the kitchen… think we’re going out tonight.
I am wearing… creamy knit cardigan, teal tank top, brown slacks, sandals, beaded necklace.
I am creating… Disappearing Nine Patch quilt with Basic Grey fabrics in Blush from Moda:
I am going… to get my hair cut today.
I am reading… not much really, been too sleepy at night and drop right off.
I am hoping… that my parents have a safe and happy trip overseas!
I am hearing… lawn equipment somewhere out there…
Around the house… really need to dust. Old duct work + five kitties = allergies.
One of my favorite things… a little girlie time away, like I’ll have this weekend. 😉
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… grabbing the Princess Anabelle, a sewing machine and snacks and holing up in a nice hotel with a pool for a couple of nights. 😀
My Picture Thought … prefaced by a Dave Barry quote:
The trouble is, you cannot grow just one zucchini. Minutes after you plant a single seed, hundreds of zucchini will barge out of the ground and sprawl
around the garden, menacing the other vegetables. At night, you will be able to hear the ground quake as more and more zucchinis erupt.
I think we’re up to twelve zukes… these are numbers 4, 5 and 6:
I hope you and AB have a wonderful few days away from it all. 🙂
Very nice smooth zucs there! Time for some zuc rounds! I made some up the other night…yummie.
