FOR TODAY … 19 October, 2010
Outside My Window… sun and blue sky, turning leaves.
I am thinking… that I don’t want to think. Meh.
I am thankful for… a gorgeous roadtrip Saturday, a sort of Michigan Fall Color Tour.
From the kitchen… from our fabulous local smokehouse, kielbasa on the grill and pierogi, plus carrots from the garden.
I am wearing… black slacks and tank, brown knit cardigan. New necklace, bought last week to remind me to love and take better care of myself 😉 :
I am creating… still working on this quilt, but the end is in sight.
I am going… to get outside more now that I’m feeling better!
I am reading… just peeking back into The Hobbit. News of Peter Jackson’s commencing of production (February 2011) for this has made me want to get reacquainted.
I am hoping… that a windstorm doesn’t come and blow all our leaves down before they’re fully peaked… like usually happens!
I am hearing… co-workers on the phone, leafblower somewhere outside.
Around the house… I don’t want to talk about it. If I ignore it all, maybe it will go away.
One of my favorite things… the way Anabelle nuzzles me in the eyesockets when we’re both waking up in the morning.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… not sure yet…
My Picture Thought … came downstairs one morning last weekend to a little Leyla curled up against my sewing machine. Had to caption it:
🙂 She’s such a sweetie.
I’d like to see MORE pictures of your trip up north.
Yeah, she’s a luv.
Hopefully tomorrow… been a hectic week. 😮
