I just added Amy Karol’s Angry Chicken blog to my blogroll. If you’re not familiar with her, she has a lovely book called Bend-the-rules Sewing. I am so enthused about this book because it’s helping people like me who thought they could never create with needle and thread realize that they can. Her projects are fun, versatile and completely unintimidating. But note that “bending the rules” does not mean being sloppy. She doesn’t cut corners on precision or accuracy, but removes the non-essential tedium that causes my eyes to glaze over when I’ve flipped through other such books. Enjoy!
