Well, here it is so far… one 12″ block for the first nine months of the year. (The snowman’s head isn’t really crooked; my hubby just has a death grip on the corner.) Blocks and sashing are handstitched. Not pictured is the block for October (a maple leaf) as well as the final row of sashing, but both are done. So, just two more blocks to assemble…
This was the first project I ever started, a couple of years back. I was new to fabric selection, organizing, etc., and also hadn’t developed any preferences style-wise. This is not a quilt I would start now LOL! But it will be finished and loved nonetheless.
Gorgeous quilt! I haven’t made one in years so color me jealous :).

Thanks, Penny! It’ll be cozy, at least. 🙂
If you think some inspiration would help, the Village Quilt Shoppe (in Canterbury Village on Joslyn) as well as Mabelena’s in Ortonville are my two favorite local quilt shops. Cristina’s in downtown Rochester is nice too, but I haven’t visited their brand new, larger location yet. And in Oxford, we have Aunt Nan’s, though I don’t really shop there much.
Stay warm!
Doing a great job, April!
I agree. Great job.
Tusinde tak, Gitte. 🙂
