Just a few shots from a Friday evening when hubby came home early, loaded up the “boats”, and off we went. We stopped at Subway en route to grab some, um, provisions for our trek LOL! Our plan was to eat on or near the water, and I didn’t have time to pack a picnic. 😉
These are from two connecting lakes at the Holly Recreation Area in Southeast Michigan. As you can see, a prolonged winter and cold spring has kept the trees bare through late April. But it was a lovely, clear day. 🙂

Wow, April…looks like a beautiful trip. How was your new kayak?
It’s getting moldy! Hubby hurt himself that evening (sprained knee) and we didn’t go out for a week. Then we were out of town, and THEN the weather stunk for days. We’re going tomorrow, however. 😀
