I bought this a few months back on Etsy, and love it even more than I thought I would!
It keeps my yarn contained and easily dispensed, while also protecting the roll of yarn from mischievous feline activity.
I ordered it from this store:
The yarn is 100% pure alpaca from a farm a few miles from me, and the crochet hook is handturned maple and feels so nice to work with. I’m crocheting hubby a scarf. 🙂
Is that the ball of yarn that was giving you fits at lunch the other day?! 🙂 I love the color!
Cool bowl…now that I see it in action.
Yup, that is the evil yarn LOL! So silky and nice though. I’ve decided to do wide stripes so contacted them a few days back about stopping by to shop for another color , but no response yet. Worse comes to worse, hopefully they’ll be at the Michigan Sheep and Wool Festival again in a month. 😉
How much is alpaca wool? May have to send you some money via paypal!
Better sit down, girlie; it was an indulgence. 😮 As I recall, it was about $20 for one 21 or 22 yd skein.
Guess what…writing to you from my new baby 😉 What a skøøøn skål. It’s really pretty. Never knew that you could get a bowl for this, but what a great idear.
Had a nice and hyggelig evening with your parents and the rest of the fam. …missed you. Now it’s really late and I should be a sleep 😉
Just wanted to say hi…and now ‘nite…for sure.
Knus from DK
Oh Gitte, I am SO excited for you! But you were up too late playing with the new baby LOL!
I thought of you all together today and missed you too! I don’t think I’ve ever met your father, but am glad you got to meet mine. He’s one of my best buddies. 😉
Take care, og stor knus.
Egads… I should NOT publicly post while trying to watch TV at the same time. (Emmys.)
Michelle, that would be $21 for 250 yards! Still pricey, but not as ridiculous as my earlier response. 😉

That is adorable. I never knew there were bowls like that. Then again I don’t knit so I should be clueless 🙂
Hee! Etsy is a dangerous and wonderful world, T.R. ;-P
