Eleven years ago today, I rescued Macy from off of the median wall of a local expressway. She had cuts on her face, a broken tooth, and was clearly traumatized, but she let me do what I needed to do to help her. At an estimated age of about 13, she is still going strong, with a coat soft and fuzzy as a bunny rabbit’s. 🙂
