I have finally finished my orange and white quilt top, more recently entitled Sunshine State. The colors harken back to my childhood in the Florida Keys, with memories of eating at the local Howard Johnson’s (fried fish and clams followed by the yummiest ice cream)…

 

 

 

…as well as watching the Miami Dolphins with my dad and grandfather.

 

 

The wavy border fabric reminds me of some sorely missed saltwater surf.
